Thoughts - Columbus MS Photographer

So I remember a time back in jr high when I was in that awkwar-not-sure-what-to-do-with-myself phase that we all go through.... and one night, a group of girls had a slumber party... and as she was showing us her room, she pointed to a very large picture above her bed. It was a picture of her and she looked gorgeous... I mean really amazing. And then she opened a dresser drawer and took out a bunch of pictures that were done at the same session... so many poses or her looking so beautiful. And she told us that her mom had had these taken for her - a professional photoshoot... so that whenever she felt ugly, she could pull those pictures out, and know - know that she was beautiful.

I remember thinking even then, what an amazing gift that would be.

School is starting back.... and with that, comes starting middle school and junior high and high school... and feeling awkward and ugly and unloved. No girl should ever, ever feel that way. Every girl (no matter how young or old!) should have at least one beautiful picture of herself that she can always go back to. What an amazing gift to give a daughter...

When I was younger, I wish this list of 10 things every teenage girl should know would have been around.... although, at the time, Im not sure I would have really believed it... :)

I hope everyone reads the link and it's not just true for teens, everyone should live by those.

What a great idea Addie! I would have you do this for my 13 (almost 14) year old if you lived here. You are so right - every girl should feel beautiful.
