Personal Friday - Columbus MS Photographer

Thankfully its Friday again... :) I know I show you alot of older pics of me, Daniel, Gabe and Emma, but not alot of Wallace, and that is simply because we do not have alot of pictures of Wallace before we got him.... but this is one of the ones that I do have... actually this is one of the first pictures of Wallace that I saw, and it is the picture when I knew he was my son. Isnt he one of the cutest things youve ever seen?!!! He was about three here - he's gotten so big now, he barely looks like the same little boy.

Cinderella, part one - Columbus MS Photographer

As most of you know, I am working on a series of fairytale shoots... and Cinderella was high on my list, but I definitely had to find the right girl. And I was so lucky to find Maritta - not only is she an amazing model (and super sweet), but she is also a fashion stylist. We worked together and came up with a few great concepts and I was so excited to see these images after we finished the shoot. I was even more excited when I got to editing and could really tweak them (although they didnt need much).

I really wanted to get away from the Disney/safe version... I wanted to get back to the darker, more original Grimm version, so if a few parts look a bit unfamiliar (like the bird), then catch up on your reading... and look forward to the second part of the shoot that will be upcoming. I am definitely looking forward to continuing in on with the fairytale shoots - I have 2-3 more and then I will be done.... the next series will be very dark, gritty and raw - and very, very over-the-top - Im betting you can guess how excited I am - I will also be doing a casting call for that series, so if you are interested (and you dont have to be a professional model, I love all looks), then keep watching facebook for that.

Speaking of facebook, I have two different contests going on right now... a senior pictures contest and also Im doing a giveaway - I cant wait to see all the entries... what are you waiting for?

Tupelo Bridal Show

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to Kimberly who helped me out at the Tupelo Bridal Show yesterday - she was amazing, and if you met her, then you already know that.

Also, I met so many wonderful brides, mother of the brides, and even a few grooms and father of the brides! Wow - everyone of yall was so sweet and I hope we get to talk a little more... I love to answer questions so feel free to email me at talleyimages@yahoo.com I also got to meet alot of great vendors as well. Such a great show and Im so glad I got to be a part of it.

I promise Ive got some new stuff upcoming, with all the shows and everything going on, the blog has been kind of sparse lately, but I do hope to remedy that this week... so definitely keep coming back!

Sadness...

I came up to coopers closet today to find that one of the storybooks on my table had been stolen.

If you are reading this, please bring it back... no questions asked.

It was a little golden book, it had a pink cover with a duckling pictured on it and was called The Fuzzy Duckling.

This is my daughter's book and she will be heartbroken if its gone forever... Im sure it was just an accident that it was taken, but we would love to have it back.
