Kevin and Susan

Kevin and Susan are friends of ours, so when they asked if I could take a few pictures for them for Christmas, I was delighted. We always have so much fun together - and this was no different... in fact, the pics took all of about 15 minutes and then we just sat around and talked for awhile.

Oh yes, I make everyone do crazy things - friends or not.... ok, especially friends... :)

Andrew, Michaela, Riley, Brantley and Allie Grace

You may remember Andrew and Michaela from one of my first shoots on here. They were so sweet and a pleasure to work with, so when their mom asked if I wanted to do it again - with a few of their cousins... well, I was all on board. And I love these pics.... these kids were just fun!

These kids are just too cute.... and since they live a bit more in the country, it was nice to have a change of scenery

Its really hard to get 5 kids to smile at one time, but I think we did alright!

The Atkins Family

I love this family like they were family.... because, well, they are. But even if they werent, I would have still had an awesome time just hanging out with them and taking their pics. I happen to think they turned out lovely - and it doesnt hurt when your backyard is a festival of color!

Chase

I have known Chase since he was an 8th-grader, so its been interesting to watch him grow into such a wonderful young man. (and I know he will just love that I said that!).... As most guys do, I think he did these more for his mom than himself, but after awhile, he just relaxed and we had a good time. Chase, you are one of my most favorite teenagers in the world - and I dont say that lightly. If you ever need anything, you know where I am.

With this one, I wanted something really masculine and different - and I really like how it turned out.

Well, I guess you guys did go outside and noticed how gorgeous it is.... I have booked quite a few sessions in the last few days..... which means that I have just a few days left for the rest of the year. A quick note.... if you or someone you know is considering booking me for your wedding, then you should let me know as soon as you decide because I am only taking a limited number of weddings next year.

The Tate Family

The Tate family equals sweet. This shoot went by so fast and every picture was amazing. I have to brag on these kids for a minute. They are so young, but they have so much respect for their parents already - they had fun in between takes, but as soon as the camera was on, they smiled pretty. No chasing, no fussing.... just fun.

And just try to tell me they arent adorable...

After we got the Christmas shots over and done with, we took a few standard portraits.... and they were beautiful - these just have that classic look that reminds me of vintage postcards - which I adore!

See.... I told you these kids were gorgeous - look at these faces!

I think this was my favorite of the day.... so love it!

The temps are perfect, the leaves have hit their stride in color and the light - well, the light is stunning (which translates to amazing pictures)...
