The Hughes Family - Columbus MS Photographer

Meet the Hughes family, who came all the way down from Memphis for me to do their pictures... well, sort of... :)  They actually came down to Old Waverly for some family and golf time and found me to do their pics while they were here... hey, when you get to work with a family this gorgeous, Ill take it!

 The red maples were in full color.... so gorgeous... :)

I dont know about you, but I am loving that fall is sticking around longer than normal, which means there is still some color out there.  I am pretty much done for the year, but since the weather is cooperating, if there are one or two more families who want to sneak in some pics before the end of the year, let me know... keep in mind that this will be your last chance to get a cd of the session - I will not be offering cd's next year (except for wedding packages), so take advantage!

Megan & Christian - Columbus MS Photographer

Ive got a treat for you today... I teased you with Megan and Christian's session last week (and on facebook!), so here is alot more for you to ogle either.... .

Christian flies planes and Megan is his sweetheart.... they are so truly in love and its so fun to see how Christian can barely hold back that spark when Megan is around.  And its not hard to see why - Megan is gorgeous and unbelievably sweet.  We rode all over the base and chatted like we were old friends.  They are hoping to get married at a little ceremony early next year.... I truly enjoyed my time with them and hopefully Ill get in a little more before they leave!

Oh, watch out for that shark in the water.... just kidding, its just a stump, but I always do a double take on that pic

Since we were on base, we definitely had to get a few shots with the planes... with a few good vintage ones in for good measure!

What a cute way to end a session, right?!!

So yes... I fell in love with Megan and Christian and cant wait to see what the next step in their life is going to be!

And thanks for all the well wishes for yesterday... I had a great time - thanks to Dr Mark Goodman and his class - yall were wonderful.... :)

Ann & Michael - the wedding! Columbus MS Photographer

This is the wedding that Ive been saving forever... its that good!

How do you get a photographer really, really excited?
- tell them that you want to do a first look and all the pictures before the wedding
- tell them that they can have as much time for pictures as they want
- have the wedding in a gorgeous park an hour before sunset... in the fall, when the weather is perfect

- and then make the bride and groom (heck, the whole wedding party) beautiful and really fun to be around.... yeah, pretty much a dream wedding... with that being said, there is no way that these pics can be done justice if they arent viewed full size (click on them) - just saying....

Ah.... one of the best ideas Ive ever seen..... all the moms and grandmothers wore black pants and a jewel-tone top... so gorgeous and chic.... and easy!

Oh, did I mention that the reception was in an old converted theater? Yeah...

Ann and Michael, my feelings cant even put into words how much I adore yall and your wedding... it was such an amazing experience - I cant believe I got to be there to capture it all... Yall are amazing - I hope you know that!

Ok, mini-sessions are a go.... I already have 2 booked and I am offering a limited number of slots.... so dont wait to book the timeslot that you want...

Cost will be $50 and that includes a 30 minute session, full editing, and a cd of at least 5-10 images... Saturday, March 19 will be at Lake Lowndes and Sunday, March 20 willl be at Riverwalk.

- Dont just think these are for family Easter pics... they would make a sweet graduation present for a senior who cant afford a full session, or a couple who just got engaged and need something nice for the paper... tons of ideas!
