Well, Brooke & Brian's wedding was supposed to be outside, but unfortunately, it rained... as is typical for MS lately. But they were awesome and just rocked out the Trotter.... and when I say they rocked it - I mean it. Let's just say the reception involved platform shoes at one point.

My number one hope for a wedding is that the bride and groom can just go with the flow and make things work. This is Brooke & Brian - they just kept cracking up everyone around them. And oh my goodness, was Brooke stunning or what?

Meet AJ... he is a senior this year. I was warned by his mom that he may not be that cooperative, but he was amazing. Some guys have a major attitude when it comes to pics - making my job not so fun. But not AJ... he was great! And I think we got some good shots.

This last shot is at the top of my list for favorite senior shots... ever! Thank you, AJ, for being awesome!

Yes, I realize, I need to update my blog more, but, man oh man.... I have been busy... still am. And its finally happened - I am booked up for the year. I will start booking for spring in January so be thinking about when you want your shoot because Im telling you now, it books up fast.

Congratulations to Major Tim Shedd... he is the winner of the Hero canvas.

His wife, Andree, nominated him... here is part of her email, "His deployment fell over the first 4 months of his child's life. He was allowed to come home for the birth and remained with us for a week after my son was born....then he left again. Now he's back and trying to catch up and get to know his son. I'd love pictures to commemorate this special time as my son, David gets to know his daddy and what a wonderful person he is. "

I always have a soft spot in my heart for daddies who love their families.

The Palmer Family

I got to work with another totally gorgeous family... just my (good) luck, right? Unfortunately it was raining during our session, and they had family in from Maryland so there was no way to reshedule... so we had to make do and just shoot inside.... and Im really happy with how things turned out.... isnt their little girl so beautiful? And she is already a football fan - we had to turn the game off to get her to look at me!

I had alot of fun, and this family had so many good ideas.... thank you, Palmer family, for letting me meet that gorgeous girl of yours and spend a little time with yall!
